You Were Made For More

Restored For More is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that exists to help youth from at-risk communities in the St. Louis metro area and beyond break the cycle of poverty, crime, and addiction by inspiring them with vision, empowering them with skills, and supporting them on their path to success as they transition from youth to young adults.

Our Purpose

“This generation needs hope. If you have a vision for your life, you will move towards that. It motivates you and helps you to rise up. When young people don’t have vision that’s when they get into trouble, and that’s what’s happening with this generation, they are struggling with mental and emotional depression, and they don’t have a motivation to succeed in school because they don’t believe they can . Everything we do at Restored For More is to help young people get a vision for their life and help them to succeed. We want to put this hope in them.”

Our Mission

Our mission is to see individuals, families, and cities economically and relationally lifted in the St. Louis area by partnering with local schools to provide additional academic support through volunteer tutors, hosting after school programs that both support academics but also extra curricular interests, and finally connecting youth to local mentors and professionals who will both coach and support youth on their path to college and/or career.

Our Programs

Linking Arms is our local school support program where we recruit and provide trained volunteers to go into schools and work with kids and youth who need additional support in both math and reading.

Launch Pad is our after school program that will provide youth with both academic support and engaging extra curricular activities like science, step, sports, and art to help youth find, discover, and develop their interests.

The Lift-Off Program will provide youth with a 1:1 mentor who will provide support to access college opportunities and financial support. Mentors can also connect youth with a professional as they prepare for trade school or the workforce.

Why Our Work Matters

Only nineteen percent of schools in the St. Louis metro area have 50% or more of their students meeting state standards in reading and math. Schools where students are not meeting standards are struggling to prepare students to be successful in life. We want to come alongside and support schools, families, and young people in the St. Louis metro area to be successful and find purpose.
